I was diagnosed with Hyperemesis Gravidarum and ended up in hospital for 8 weeks in and out. The last 4 weeks I was in the hospital all the time. My husband was getting really worried about me when the medicine that I was given in the hospital wasn’t working and the doctors were suggesting to feed me through the veins. Prior to me going for acupuncture, a large cyst was found and it was located close to my ovary. I faced the prospect of the cyst and ovary being removed. A dear friend recommended that I try acupuncture before the surgery date. I did and at only the second session, I felt the amazing sensation of energy channelling from the cyst location to a point in my leg. I continued with acupuncture for one more session because the surgery date was looming close. I went for surgery and to the amazement of the surgery team, there was nothing to remove!!
